Chris Baio, the talented bassist for the indie rock band Vampire Weekend (Click here to listen. They're great!), has just leaked two new songs as a solo artist, "The Silent and "New You". Although similar, his song are considerably different from Vampire Weekend's, and express his own style. They start out simple enough, but slowly develop into a fun, funky beat, seamlessly merging acoustics sounds with synthesizer squiggles.
